Nam O has long been famous for its fish sauce making craft thanks to the seasonal anchovy source and its coastal location. The best part of visiting “Huong Lang Co” is hearing the story of the village's craft told in a very authentic way: why anchovies are chosen, why the salt must reach the right "ripeness", and why patient fermentation creates such a deep aroma and sweet aftertaste. Personally, I love the moment the lid is opened; the scent of the sauce rises clearly but isn't harsh—it's the "true quality" of pure fish sauce.

Regarding the process, they use manual batch fermentation, focusing heavily on ingredient selection and timing. If you are traveling with family, this is also a gentle cultural experience: learning about a traditional craft village while tasting directly to distinguish between different types of fish sauce (boldness, color, aroma).
