Weekend Trip for Kids at The Farmers Da Nang: Ticket Prices and Experience Tips for the Whole Family
About The Farmers
The Farmers (Van Thanh Street, Dong Son Village, Ba Na, Da Nang) is a suburban farm open on weekends, a true "city escape": lots of greenery, cool air, wide spaces for children to run around, and adults to find countless rustic photo corners like a cowboy movie.
I went on a Saturday morning; from the center of Da Nang, it takes about 40-60 minutes to drive to Ba Na depending on the starting point. The farm is only open on Saturdays & Sundays (07:30-19:00), so if you plan to take your kids, remember to check the dates. My favorite experience is the clean and airy feeling; deep inside there is an orchard (with shady spots) and several animal interaction areas, which kids usually adore.
Ticket prices based on actual experience and local reviews are currently 95,000 VND/person and include 1 drink; you can comfortably relax and check-in within the premises. The most special highlight is the professional horseback riding service at 1,400,000 VND for a 60-minute package, providing a very exciting and novel experience. In addition, the place also offers camping and overnight camping services, ideal for picnics that require privacy and closeness to nature, but you must contact them in advance to book and inquire about service prices. Some visitors also shared that you can pick/receive seasonal fruits to take home (depending on the day and garden regulations), so if you are going with kids, you should ask the staff from the beginning for clarity.
On weekends, there is sometimes acoustic music, not too loud, suitable for a family "chill." If you have small children, I recommend going in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the sun, making it easier to take photos and less tiring for the kids.

Highlights
Farm visit & check-in photos
Rustic farm-style space with many beautiful photo corners. Should go early to avoid crowds and get pleasant lighting.
Seasonal orchard (strolling, resting in the shade)
The garden has many green areas, suitable for families to take a gentle walk. At certain times, there are seasonal fruit-related activities; ask the staff to know what is available that day.
Animal interaction (watching/introducing kids)
Children usually love the animal area because they can observe closely and learn to love nature. Parents should stay close and remind children not to scream/chase.
Overnight stay
You will fully enjoy the peaceful European countryside atmosphere in the early morning and late night. This is the perfect spot for you to have thousands of beautiful check-in photos. You can stay in tents, home-style rooms, or riverside bungalows fully equipped with air conditioning and toilets.
Listen to weekend acoustic music (depending on the day)
Some weekends have gentle acoustic music and a chill atmosphere. If the family has children sensitive to sound, choose a seat a bit far from the speakers.
Horseback riding experience
This is a very interesting activity that I see is new at The Farmer. You and your family or friends can leisurely ride horses amidst European cinematic scenes. In addition, the farm also offers intensive courses for this sport if you feel truly interested in it.
Tips & Notes The Farmers
Check the correct opening days
The Farmers is currently only open on Saturdays and Sundays (07:30–19:00). You should call/message the fanpage before going to avoid schedule changes due to weather.
Confirm child ticket policy at the counter
The common ticket price is 95,000 VND/person including 1 drink, but policies based on height/age may change over time. If traveling with small children, you should ask clearly before buying tickets.
Prepare sun protection and mosquito repellent for kids
Bring hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent/patches. Let children wear breathable, easy-to-move-in clothes.
Bring closed shoes and spare clothes
Going to a farm is easy to get dirt/grass on you, and children run around a lot. Sneakers/flats will be safer than flip-flops; having spare clothes helps you be proactive if the kid gets dirty.
Keep children close when entering the animal area
Remind children not to touch the animals' faces/young ones, and not to scream or chase. Wash hands/disinfect after interacting to ensure hygiene.
Go early for cool air and less crowds
The 07:30–09:30 or 15:30–17:30 time slots are usually more pleasant, kids get less tired, and parents can take better photos.
