Non Nuoc Pagoda Da Nang 2026: Latest Reality Review [A-Z]
About Chùa Non Nước
Non Nuoc Pagoda is located on Thuy Son Mountain (part of the Marble Mountains complex), a very famous spiritual destination in Da Nang featuring rocky landscapes, Buddha statues, and a system of caves with shrines inside.
I visited Non Nuoc Pagoda early in the morning and felt "pleasant" from the very first steps: the sea breeze blowing coolly, the temple bells blending with the sound of footsteps on the stone. The great thing about this place is that you don't just come for temple worship, but also experience a light mountain climbing journey, passing through limestone paths, natural caves, and many high, airy viewpoints to admire the city from above.
Within the Thuy Son area, there are many noteworthy stops: Buddha statues, the three-entrance gate, cave entrances (cool and quite dark), and courtyards where you can sit and rest, listening to the wind. I recommend going slowly, visiting while maintaining your breath because there are quite a few steps; in return, reaching the high points offers a view that is truly "worth the effort."
Right at the gate and entrance area, there are many stalls selling stone bracelets, feng shui items, and souvenirs; prices are generally reasonable, but you should still ask for the price beforehand. If you have time, you can combine your itinerary with the nearby Non Nuoc beach, or drive down to Hoi An (an area formerly part of Quang Nam, now integrated with Da Nang) for an evening out.
