Top 5 Coffee Shops with Han River Views to Watch the Dragon Bridge Fire Show
5 Best Han River View Coffee Shops to Watch the Dragon Bridge Fire Show
At exactly 9 PM every Saturday, the entire stretch of the Han River lights up as the Dragon Bridge breathes fire and water amidst the cheers of hundreds of people lining both banks. While watching from the street is beautiful, sitting in a coffee shop with a direct view of the bridge, holding a refreshing ice-blended drink, is a completely different experience—both chill and away from the crowds. I have compiled 5 shops I often visit or were recommended by locals, all located along Bach Dang Street, offering the most “valuable” views when the Dragon Bridge lights up.

Notes for Watching the Dragon Bridge Fire Show
The Dragon Bridge only performs its fire and water breathing show on Saturday and Sunday evenings at around 9 PM (times may change seasonally, so remember to double-check before you go). Since every shop is crowded during this time, arrive 30-45 minutes early to pick a table with a good view and avoid having to crane your neck over other people’s heads.
Each shop on this list has its own color—from nostalgic and retro to modern and spacious—but the common point is that they all have “million-dollar views” of the Dragon Bridge and the Han River. If you are going with a group and want to combine dinner before watching the fire show, refer to my post on Top Han River view restaurants. Which space do you like best, or do you have another favorite spot along Bach Dang? Leave a comment and let me know!
