About Hoang Sa Exhibition House: Location, Opening Hours & Entrance Fee 2026

Hoang Sa Exhibition House is a "must-visit" stop on the Son Tra Peninsula if you want to understand the story of Hoang Sa through neatly organized documents, maps, and artifacts. I visited on an afternoon, standing in the courtyard looking out at the sea on Hoang Sa Street, feeling a sense of both solemnity and peace.

Location: 37V2+9GJ, Hoang Sa Street, Son Tra District, Da Nang. It takes about 15-25 minutes by car from the city center (depending on the starting point), and it's very easy to find along the Son Tra coastal road. The exhibition house has modern architecture, and the flags prominently displayed in front make it instantly recognizable when passing by.

Opening Hours 2026: Tuesday to Sunday 08:00-11:30 and 13:30-17:00; Closed on Mondays. I recommend timing your visit for the beginning of the session (morning or early afternoon) to explore at leisure and take photos without rushing.

Entrance Fee: Currently Free. Inside, there are many display sections across different floors, highlighting documents affirming sovereignty and maps through various periods with a very "readable" presentation (not as dry as many traditional museums). Some areas might not be fully renovated yet, but overall, it is still a place worth visiting at least once when going to Son Tra.

If you are planning a trip to My Khe Beach - Son Tra - Linh Ung Pagoda, I often schedule Hoang Sa Exhibition House as a 45-90 minute stop to change the pace: it's cool indoors and offers more knowledge before continuing the coastal scenic route.
