About the tour
Are you visiting Da Nang with your group of friends but don't know how to plan a schedule that combines beautiful photos, stress relief, and delicious food? This comprehensive plan for A Day in Da Nang for Besties: Instagrammable Spots, Go-Kart Racing, Seafood, and An Thuong Nightlife is the perfect suggestion that a local like me often shares with my close friends every weekend.
We started our morning leisurely at 8:00 AM at The 59 Cafe, tucked away in a small alley on Hai Phong Street. The cafe is shaded by green trees, offering a very airy three-story space with a rich coffee menu. After sipping a cup of coffee and recharging, our group rode motorbikes for about 10 minutes to the Love Bridge on the banks of the Han River. The morning sun reflecting on the water here is very beautiful; you can snap high-quality check-in photos from any angle without worrying about it being too crowded.
Towards noon, the whole group headed to Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road to have lunch at Muoi Bien Seafood restaurant. The seafood here is exceptionally fresh and prepared with Central Vietnamese flavors. A little tip for you: if you are traveling in a large group, you should contact them to book a private VIP room to enjoy your meal comfortably and sing karaoke freely with your friends.
After resting, around early afternoon, head straight to Esco Beach bar right next to My Khe beach. The feeling of sitting lazily on a beach sofa, ordering a cool cocktail, and watching the waves crash is truly soothing. Around 4:00 PM, when the sun mellowed, we headed to the Da Phuoc Go-Kart track in Hai Chau. The electric karts here run very smoothly but are extremely fast; the feeling of stepping on the gas and taking corners on the track brought excitement to the whole group.
As night falls, it's the best time to rock the An Thuong tourist street. Truly "everything is within walking distance," this Western quarter gathers plenty of pubs, outdoor bars, and diverse snack shops. We strolled through the alleys shimmering with twinkling lights, stopped at a small bar for some craft beer, and closed out a trip full of laughter.
