About InterContinental Danang: An All-Inclusive Luxury Daycation for Only 2,500,000 VNĐ
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort (Bai Bac, Tho Quang, Son Tra, Da Nang) is a super-luxury resort nestled privately between the forest and the sea, famous for Bill Bensley's architecture, a private beach, and impeccable service. On Google, the resort achieves a 4.9/5 rating with over 10,879 reviews, and my practical experience confirms the same: luxurious, quiet, and "worth the money" if you want to reward yourself with a true day off.
I went for the premium day resort style (Daycation): heading to Son Tra in the morning, entering the resort to enjoy free full-day privileges such as resting on the 700m long private beach, relaxing at the family pool (Garden Pool), the infinity Long Pool, or working out at the modern Soar Gym. The most impressive part remains the lush green space, the sea breeze at Bai Bac, and the very subtle way the staff cares for guests (from directions and calling buggy cars to small details like cold towels and welcome water).
The point I like most about this Daycation package is the flexibility to choose 1 of 3 main experiences. If you love gastronomy, Citron is an easy spot to "fall in love" with because of its bay view and a very photogenic 3-course Vietnamese lunch menu (served from Monday to Saturday). If you want a change of taste, you can choose the Special Bento Box at the Tingara Japanese restaurant (served from 12:00 – 15:00 daily, except Mondays). Especially on Sundays, you have an additional luxurious option with the Champagne Sunday Brunch. If you prefer to prioritize self-care, you can choose the Express Manicure (60 minutes) and Foot Therapy (30 minutes) package at the Hair and Nail Studio instead of lunch. For families with children, the Daycation fee for kids can also be used as credit to order from the dedicated children's menu, which is very thoughtful.
In addition to the main experiences, you will also be free to enjoy the full range of premium amenities throughout the day.
The resort area is very large, but moving between many sections is supported by buggy cars so you won't get tired. In the late afternoon, stop by Long Bar to relax, order a mocktail/cocktail, and listen to the sound of the waves to fully reset your energy.
6-8 Hour Itinerary: 09:00 Gym workout or architectural check-in; 11:00 rest at the private beach; 12:00 lunch at Citron/Tingara; 13:30 relax at the infinity pool; 15:00 nail/foot treatment or chill at Long Bar; 17:00 return to the center. This is a "less but quality" style of travel, suitable for dates, anniversaries, or taking the family for a change of atmosphere.
